Why is it that, in general, people will wait for someone else to do something when they are have their rights removed? One person is often the instigator of and idea that was already shared by the masses. It takes a special kind of person in a special set of circumstances for activism to begin, in Cory Doctorow's opinion. Other views on this argument include; only a special caliber person is necessary, or that it is simply the circumstances, which bring out the sleeping giant in any person. I believe that Corey Doctorow has a point in his argument, that the perfect mixture can activate any uprising.
