Goldman-Anarchism-Anarcha Feminism

Emma Goldman, anarchism, and anarcho-feminism all have strong parallels with the book Little Brother. The main character, Marcus, shares Goldman's defiance to current authority. I think that she is the basis to Marcus' personality. The theme of anarchism is everywhere in Little Brother. The government clearly is out stepping its boundaries in the book. Anarchism suggests the idea of pure freedom. Freedom that is not "censored" by the government. Anarcha-feminism is an a philosophy that combines anarchism and feminism. It suggests that our patriarchal society is unjust in that it is an involuntary hierarchy, just like Little Brother is suggesting that the United States is. Marcus did not vote on the laws or to put the authority figures in office, but he has to still abide by their rules.
