DHS has my cell phone and I’m upset
They got my password through torture and many threats
And yet I still don’t know, what did I do?
You’re in the car, its a typical Tuesday night
Little did you know you got documented at the green light
These innocent people, what did they do?
But I created X-net, to fight against the government
I gathered lots of people and this is what they represent
A country full of freedoms, with people that freely express
That they want life, liberty, and happiness
If you could see that everyone just wants their privacy
Used to have it all, so why can’t you see?
My life belongs to me
My life belongs to me
A rave in Dolores Park with all my fellow X-netters
We all chant ‘Take it back!’, the crowd starts to stir
Then the police show up and shout to disperse
Then they ended up gassing us
In the end, DHS captures me once again
They havent seen me in awhile, ‘cause they couldn’t track me around
I was too powerful for them to even bring me down
I created X-net, to fight against the government
I gathered lots of people and this is what they represent
A country full of freedoms, with people that freely express
That they want life, liberty, and happiness
If you could see that everyone just wants their privacy
Used to have it all, so why can’t you see?
My life belongs to me
My life belongs to me
