Technology In the Modern Era
The role of technology in today's modern era has become more and more influential on people's lives. With an increasing number of social networking and media being created, the notion of personal privacyis addressed. The lives of modern day people has gradually become more elctronic and has migrated toward the Internet. However, with the lives of people available via the Internet, there have been many threats toward people's personal privacy. In the novel Little Brother, Cory Doctorow addresses this issue of privacy pertaining to technology but clearly states that that these threats toward personal privacy are at fault with the government. Yet, scholars, and myself as well, believe that the harm towards our own personal privacy lays at fault with the users. My three pages' headlines will be Internet, personal privacy, and role of technology.
