Topic Proposal

What I want to pursue in my next research project is to find out the answer to this question which is racially profiling people necessary for the safety of the public. I have some previous knowledge of this topic so I would be comfortable composing a long website about the research I have found. The novel shows how after the terrible attacks on the two World Trade Towers the United States government is going into a panic and heightening security measures to spot terrorists but they are actually racially profiling Arabic people because they believe they have a better chance of being a terrorist than any other race. I want to find in my research another possibility that could solve this problem of racial profiling but it will be extremely hard to come up with a compromise. I will have a bibliography and a review of the literature done by Monday.
