Anarchism and Emma Goldman
Anarchism is a political philosophy that believes in a stateless society that rejects and holds the state as "undesirable and unecessary". Anarcho-feminism is similar to anarchism but combines the movement of feminism with it. Emma Goldman was ac active anarcho-feminist that was known for her speeches and politcal activism. She was considered a "rebel woman" and was greatly involved in social issues and women's rights. These ideas are all relevant to the novel Little Brother through Marcus and his defiance against the government, or specifically the Department of Homeland Security. He is portrayed as an anarchist throughout the book because of his will to rid the country of the government. He is therefore very similar to Emma Goldman since he is fighting for a better government.
