Yippie!
Yippies were a part of a movement in the 60s to promote peace. They were a group who protested, rallied, and did public pranks. The free speech movement was a student protest at Berkeley which aimed at the school. This protest occurred in order to allow political activity on campus. The students and protesters ended up winning. Punk music oftentimes expresses youthful rebellion, especially against authority. This all relates to Little Brother because there is a protest that is starting and is being put on by a group like the Yippies, the Xnetters.
