emma goldman, anarchist...etc

I find that Marcus can be related to Emma Goldman in that they both are anarchists. Goldman made many attempts to voice against voilence and repression against the independent voice. Like Goldman, Marcus follows a similar pattern in that he tries to abolish authority because it is harmful and undesirable. Marcus and Goldman both risked their lives to reach a better outcome and overall - better authority/government. Anarcho-feminism - which fights against the male hierarchy - relates to Little Brother in that there are clashing classes. Although it is not male vs female, it can be paralled by youth vs authority. The youth is attempting to rebel in hopes of creating chance, yet the authority has hierarchy. Youth, in general, can be correlated with rebellion, and I think Doctorow does this to validate that the youth is essentially, a lot of Goldmans trying to make a change.
